This is my homage to Hong Kong action cinema, Chanbara films, and anime. I grew up watching nothing but these type of films and absolutely hated children's television - It was so boring! So with this, coupled with my gaming expertise, I developed the dream to work in both film/animation and gaming, and my first step is this series.

These were initial sketches of Ashura Shindo in October 2011, done by David Jaxon. This was when I decided to take an action-comedy direction with the series (back then, I didn't have a name for the series).
